Welcome to Vision Dance School

“The enjoyment of dance” The school is built on a foundation of successful development of pupils of all ages and abilities. Ability is not a barre to enjoyment of dance. Development is a result of ensuring a child/pupil wants to attend classes and this in turn is a result of the school ethos of mutual respect and the pursuit of individual development for all pupils.

Vision offers Melody Bear (registered)classes from the age of 2.5 years, introducing children to dance and movement.

From school age children are offered classes in Ballet and Tap which progress through the National Association of Teachers of Dancing up to and including professional level. All pupils are encouraged to take examinations to help them develop their dancing with a structured, disciplined approach.

As the children mature and progress we offer Modern Stage Classes to widen their dancing style and increase flexibility, rhythm and technique.

Streetdance is offered to all pupils of secondary school age.

Vision Dance participates in local displays and events throughout the year and a whole school production every 18 months – two years to give pupils a sense of performance.
