Our graded classes commence with Class and Preliminary examination, students then progress through grades 1-5, Intermediate Foundation, Intermediate Advanced 1 and 2 for students who wish to become teachers or professional dancers.
The Tap syllabus is recognised by Ofqual. UCAS points are accredited for lnterfoundation, Intermediate, Advanced 1 and 2.
Previous Students have successfully auditioned to train with Tap Attack and have gained Distinctions at Advanced 2 level. We have also had teachers train to Associate level and are now teaching worldwide.
Tap Exam Uniform
Class, Preliminary and Grade 1:
Pink skirted leotard, pink ankle socks, black tap shoes.
Grade 2, 3 and 4:
Rose leotard, plain black leggings, black ankle socks and black tap shoes
Grade 5 and above:
Black double crossed strap leotard, plain black leggings, black ankle socks, black tap shoes.
Hair all grades: high pony tail.
